Wisconsin rules to know

Switching Medigap plans
Wisconsin doesn't add a yearly Medigap switching right. Outside your 6-month Medigap Open Enrollment Period (which starts when you're 65 or older and have Part B) and certain federal protections, such as losing other coverage, insurers can usually ask health questions and turn you down. States with switching rights.
Medigap under 65
Required. If you are under 65 and on Medicare because of a disability or kidney failure (ESRD), insurers cannot turn you down for a Medigap policy during the 6 months after your Part B starts, and you get a second 6-month open enrollment at 65; Wisconsin does not use the national lettered plans (A-N) and instead sells its own Basic policy with optional add-on riders, plus cost-sharing and high-deductible versions.
Agent licenses
Agents must be licensed for health insurance in Wisconsin. Look one up.
